London's West End is considered the prime entertainment center of the UK, spanning from Piccadilly Circus to Trafalgar Square with an abundant number of nightclubs, bars, pubs, theaters, cinemas and restaurants in between.

In order to reduce crime and create a safer environment, the district has undergone an innovative three-year program of targeted crime reduction at high-crime establishments.

Among the most effective strategies has been ongoing engagement with directors and managers in the entertainment industry, the setting of baselines and the development of joint goals and targets.
